Gladwell & Patterson are delighted to announce their participation at The San Francisco Fall Show this October, 2023. Showcasing an extraordinary range of fine and decorative arts, the show is the leading international art, antiques, and design fair on the West Coast. For 2023, the show is themed around La Dolce Vita; pursuing passions, embracing pleasure, enjoying beauty – characteristics of every discerning art collector.

Our collection comprises of some of the finest British and European artists of the past one-hundred years. From equine masterpieces by Sir Alfred J. Munnings, to exceptional Post-Impressionist landscapes by Gustave Loiseau, the paintings on display will showcase fine art of the highest standard and quality. Alongside these we will be showcasing masterpieces by Georges Charles Robin and Alexandre Louis Jacob to bring La Dolce Vita of the European countryside to the west coast.

The highlight of our exhibition will be a unique bronze relief sculpture by Pablo Picasso of his last and final love, Jacqueline Roque. In memorialising this linocut, conceived in 1962, in bronze, Picasso made a statement expressing not only the importance he attributed to his printmaking methods but to the individual quality of this composition with Jacqueline at its heart.

We are delighted to present new canvases by British contemporary artist Peter Wileman, whose vibrantly coloured abstract landscapes and seascapes are instantly recognisable for their gestural brushstrokes and nautical references.

We hope that you enjoy this collection, and we look forward to welcoming you to Stand B4 in San Francisco this October.
