Partridge.

Partridge by Karl Martens

Swooping down over the meadow below, a partridge leaves its covey to fly to shelter, its distinctive orange face framed beautifully by its large wings. As it swiftly changes direction, it dips its wings towards the ground, elegantly gliding through the air.

This painting is unframed.
