Born in Glasgow at the end of the Eighties Andrew began developing his own highly precise painting technique since his teenage years. He is now one of the most sought-after artists in Scotland and specialises in photorealistic paintings, mainly in oil but occasionally in acrylic. His studies of Scotland are in many private collections around the world. After achieving a BA in Fine Art, Andrew took to the medium of oil, painting scenes close to home and along the North-West Coast capturing the scenes with an intense realistic quality. Enjoying the challenge of accentuating natural details and portraying atmosphere he uses finite detailing and a fantastically unique perspective to achieve works that are taking the art world by storm.
