The Granary is situated just off the Stamford Road on the northern edge of the delightful Lincolnshire village of West Deeping, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book and described in Sir Nikolaus Pevsner's Buildings of England for Lincolnshire as ‘uncommonly charming'.

The beautifully restored Grade II star listed property still forms part of Molecey House and Mill. The Granary has a date stone on the gable end of 1773 and with stunning huge oak beams and sympathetically exposed stonework, new life has been breathed into this historic building. With its period architecture and authentic features our home has a rich history and many stories to tell.

Rivers, streams and ponds are a major feature of the landscape around the house. You will find enchanting views and wonderful reflections at every turn. The mill pond sits at the front of the house and makes a very relaxing and tranquil place to sit and take breakfast in the early morning sun. Further out you will find several landscaped islands with many plants and flowers bringing them to life. Mown pathways lead you out across the field and attractive bridges act as gateways to lead you across the streams and rivers.

The bird life of the area is extensive and any budding ornithologist is going to enjoy a spot of twitching. A reflective moon pond and Asian inspired garden provide an exotic corner on the eastern side of the grounds.

Please contact Glenn at glenn@gladwellpatterson.com or give him a call on 07767 824245 if you would like to visit.
