Francois Depresle (1926-1989) was a French painter known for his colourful and vibrant compositions, which blended elements of abstraction with landscape painting. Born in Lille in Northern France, Depresle received his training at the prestigious École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, settling in the city soon after and establishing a studio.
François (Frank) Depresle (1957-2015) spent most of his childhood and early adolescence in Saint-Honoré-les-Bains.
