Brimming with charm, The Crockery Cupboard by Olivia Tuck transforms everyday kitchenware into a lively still life. Hanging teacups and a classic blue-and-white teapot take centre stage, their forms captured with dynamic brushwork and expressive light. The arrangement of stacked plates and patterned ceramics suggests both order and warmth.
Ollie Tuck is a Sussex-based Still Life painter who has exhibited with the RSMA and ROI.
Her paintings are a response to the beauty of colour and light she finds in everyday subjects. Her recent works combine traditional still life subjects with a contemporary use of colour and pattern in highly decorative, joyful compositions.
Ollie has won awards including 2nd Place 'Stanley Grimm Memorial Award at the Royal Institute of Oil painters 2022, the RSMA Next Generation Award and Holly Bush Painter Prize, Best figurative painting, 2021.
