Monumental Sculptures to be exhibited at The Game Fair this weekend

We will be showcasing the giant, awe-inspiring sculpture of James Doran-Webb, at Stand F551 at the Game Fair from Friday 28th - Sunday 30th July 2023.

This year, James Doran-Webb was the talk of the Chelsea Flower Show. He returned to the main avenue with the largest sculpture ever to be exhibited, a tremendous 22.9 foot Wyvern adorning his stand, and of course, it sold in a matter of minutes.

We are thrilled to debut James’ vision at The Game Fair’s 65th Anniversary this weekend. Amongst a backdrop of wildflowers and fine paintings James’s impressive, monumental sculptures will be at the forefront of stand F551. Red deer rutting, owls perching, meerkats waiting and frogs atop boulders are just a few of the scenes you’ll spot.

It isn’t just James’ ability to suspend large quantities of heavy molave wood and stainless steel from unimaginable heights, it is the astounding attention to detail he bestows upon each original work of art. The astonishing movement and monumentality of his creations are truly breath taking. With a masterful touch he breathes life into ancient, weathered driftwood and transforms the pieces into mesmerizing structures that defy the laws of gravity.

Each creation is a testament to his deep reverence for nature, he seamlessly integrates the organic curves and texture into the spirit of the creatures he creates. James is ingenious with a sprinkle of structural engineering prowess, weaving realism into natural formation.

From the majestic rearing ‘Helios’ to the gentle gaze of each ‘Wise Owl’, every sculpture tells a unique story and character. They invite viewers to delve into art and nature, harmoniously intertwining a reminder of the delicate balance between mankind, the natural world and urging us to cherish the beauty that surrounds us. His sculpture is an ode to the magnificence of the earth and a celebration of boundless it’s creativity.
